Status Updates & Discrepancy Handling
Teqtivity syncs with Mosyle to ensure accurate status updates. If a device moves from “stored” to “assigned,” this change is automatically reflected based on Mosyle data. Discrepancies are flagged for IT resolution, such as:
Unmatched Devices: If Mosyle fails to link a device to a user’s email, Teqtivity flags it for review, ensuring accurate asset tracking and user-device assignment.
User Assignment Discrepancy: When Teqtivity and Mosyle show different users assigned to a device, IT investigates and Teqtivity can automate reassignment based on preferences.
Unexpected Device Movement: If a device is marked “In Storage” in Teqtivity but has a recent login in Mosyle, Teqtivity updates the asset status and assigns it to the logged-in user after IT verification.
Inactive Devices: If a device hasn’t been used in over 10 days, Teqtivity flags it for investigation to determine if it was returned or if the employee is using a personal device.
Unregistered Devices: If a device is assigned in Teqtivity but not registered in Mosyle, IT must confirm Mosyle syncing to ensure compliance and proper asset tracking.
